Ladysmith Friends Group
Since 2019, the Ladysmith Friends group has been meeting here at the Lakes. We are a small group of
friends and neighbors that meet weekly in gathered silence. This group does not express any religious
views. We value all people equally and oppose anything that may harm or threaten anyone in our
community. All our neighbors are honored, regardless of nationality, class, race, creed, age, ability,
family status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. We come together to share our experiences in
the hope of bringing the local community together.
The Ladysmith Friends Group is under the care of the Society of Friends of Caroline County,
Virginia. We are neighbors supporting our lake communities. We gather together to deepen our
connections to each other and share our experiences, which helps us learn from each other; and gives
us a better understanding of our roles in our community.
