Rooted in Tradition. Open to All

Inspired by The Way—the earliest, non-political movement of Jesus’s first-century followers—we seek to live as an egalitarian family defined by practical ethics, radical community, and love.

Drawing from the original Jerusalem movement, we embrace a spirit of radical commonality—where resources are shared, needs are met, and daily life is guided by shared commitment rather than rigid dogma or political division.

We put these values into practice through the enduring Quaker Testimonies (SPICES):

Simplicity: Focusing on what truly matters.
Peace: Living nonviolently and resisting division.
Integrity: Walking with honesty and authenticity.
Community: Sharing life and supporting one another.
Equality: Recognizing the divine Light in every person.
Stewardship: Caring for the Earth and our shared resources.

A Shared Table: Our Fellowship with Unitarian Universalists

While our practices are grounded in the silent waiting and Inner Light of Quaker tradition, and Unitarian Universalist services reflect a pluralistic, post-Christian tradition, our hearts share the exact same foundation: a deep reverence for individual conscience, radical equality, peace, and social justice.

We are honored to meet at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Fredericksburg (UUFF). As part of our shared journey, we warmly invite members of the UUFF to join our gatherings, and we encourage our community to attend theirs as we learn from and support one another.

We welcome everyone to explore their own spiritual journey freely—without judgment or exclusion—as we grow together in truth, justice, and love.
